Graham Doyle Secures AM Class Victory in Impressive LSTNA Debut at Sebring
Sebring, FL – March 16, 2025 – Graham Doyle delivered a dominant performance alongside co-driver Glenn McGee in the opening rounds of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America (LSTNA) at Sebring International Raceway, securing an AM class victory in his debut with McGee.
Competing together for the first time, Doyle and McGee demonstrated remarkable skill and composure throughout the weekend. Doyle made an immediate impact during the doubleheader qualifying, securing his first AM class pole position for Race 1 — a testament to his pace and confidence on the track.
In Race 1, Doyle and McGee executed a flawless strategy. After a strong start, the duo maintained their composure as the 50-minute race unfolded. A well-timed pit stop and seamless driver change allowed the No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing (WTR) Lamborghini to maintain its starting position. Doyle’s smooth and consistent driving secured the top step of the AM class podium, marking a victorious start to the season.
The momentum carried over into Race 2 on Friday. McGee started the race and quickly propelled the No. 10 Lamborghini into podium contention before handing the reins to Doyle during the mandatory pit stop. Doyle took control in the second half, building a gap over the competition and maintaining the lead to secure a second consecutive AM class victory.
“I started on pole position yesterday and Glenn drove a flawless second stint and won the race for us,” said Doyle. “Today, Glenn hustled us up to the front and I was able to hop in and run it to the end for the win. A perfect weekend for us! I couldn’t have imagined a better start to our season. Last year, I had one podium and this year I’ve started off with two wins in Lamborghini Super Trofeo – I couldn’t ask for more.”
Team officials and racing insiders were quick to praise Doyle’s performance, highlighting his composure and competitive edge despite it being his first outing as a co-driver. “Graham showed exceptional racecraft and adaptability,” said a WTR team representative. “He and Glenn executed the race plan perfectly, and these back-to-back wins are a reflection of their hard work and talent.”
With a strong start to the LSTNA season, Doyle and McGee have firmly established themselves as a formidable duo in the AM class. The team now sets its sights on the next round, looking to build on this early momentum and continue their pursuit of championship success at the WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca for the next doubleheader on May 10-11, 2025.
