Graham Doyle Shines in Debut Performance at Rolex 24 with WTRAndretti, Showcasing Exceptional Driving Skills and Perseverance
(Daytona Beach, FL) January 28, 2024 – Graham Doyle, the rising star in the world of motorsport, made an indelible mark in his debut appearance at the prestigious Rolex 24 at Daytona with WTRAndretti and the No. 45 DEX Imaging Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2 team. Despite it being his first time driving in the iconic race, Doyle exhibited extraordinary driving skills and unwavering perseverance, leaving a lasting impression on fans and competitors alike.
From the moment he took the wheel of the No. 45 DEX Imaging Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2, Graham Doyle showcased his inherent talent, navigating the challenging twists and turns of the Daytona International Speedway with precision and finesse. With each lap, he demonstrated his increasing mastery of the craft. Maneuvering through traffic and maintaining a blistering pace throughout the overnight hours of the grueling endurance race, he was dominant until a suspension issue after light contact during the overnight hours forced the WTRAndretti crew to head back to the garages for repair.
What truly set Graham Doyle apart, however, was his unparalleled perseverance in the face of adversity. As the race unfolded, Doyle encountered his fair share of challenges, yet he remained steadfast in his resolve, refusing to let obstacles dampen his spirit or derail his pursuit of success.
Said Wayne Taylor, Team Principal: “It was a good learning experience. My expectations were pretty high about that car actually. But other things happened. I’m really proud of all the drivers, Kyle, Danny, Ashton and especially Graham Doyle. It was a daunting situation for him to be in and he had the incident in the night. He got back in the car and thankfully he did, because he finished the race, and did a great job.”
Reflecting on his debut performance at the Rolex 24, Graham Doyle expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to compete in such a prestigious event for WTRAndretti. “This race is definitely a special one. The start of hopefully many more endurance races to kick off to a great season ahead with WTRAndretti. The race didn’t exactly go to plan, we had an incident during the night session and went some laps down, but we really rallied as an entire team. WTRAndretti did an awesome job, and we got the No. 45 DEX Imaging Lamborghini back together, got back out there and were able to finish the race. That’s pretty special and it’s going to mark a good season.”
Graham Doyle’s impressive performance at the Rolex 24 serves as a testament to his exceptional talent, unwavering determination, and sheer passion for the sport of racing. As he continues to make his mark on the world of motorsport with WTRAndretti, there’s no doubt that Graham Doyle’s star will continue to rise, shining brighter with each of his laps on the track.
